An Analysis of the Flashbacks

birdbrainblue:

As of this morning’s episode, I think I’ve been able to piece together what happened 42 years prior to the events of The Legend of Korra.

Oh wow.  I had already made my own assumptions about Tarrlok being Yakone’s son, but everything else is very interesting!

Well, the big premiere of The Legend of Korra is tomorrow at 11:00 AM on Nickelodeon. Thanks to this digital age, I suppose the vast majority of you checking out this blog have seen these first two episodes already, but it is still an exciting day for Mike and me and the rest of Team Korra as we return to TV and have a chance to connect with a new audience outside of the (fantastic) existing fan base. Thanks again for all of your incredible support and enthusiasm over all the years leading up to this premiere!
Naga is above just because I’m too tired to draw something relevant, I wanted an image to pair with this message, and this image was on my hard drive. And I love Naga. She’s been waiting 10 years for her big debut!
P.S. GAH! I just saw that Joaquim drew something new for his premiere post. CURSE YOU, 2-CENTS!

bryankonietzko:

Mike and I will be on the NPR program All Things Considered tomorrow, Friday April 13th, talking about Korra and Avatar. We did a really cool interview with Neda Ulaby, meaning she asked cool questions (I don’t know if we were cool). We’re really excited and honored to be on that show! Our…
